Docking lamb tails was on the job sheet for Wairarapa College agriculture students during the damp and cold final week of Term 3.
A group of junior students, led by experienced seniors toiled away getting this year’s college flock docked and dosed with B12 and selenium.
Agriculture head of department Dan Grace said it was important having the seniors work with the junior students in all areas of the farm.
“It helps the Year 9 and 10s learn about work and the seniors can pass on their skills and knowledge they have learned over the years,” he said.
