Tumu Douglas Villa conceded two goals in the first 22 minutes to Victoria University, eventually losing 2–1 in an all-Capital Division One clash in Wellington.
Goals to Lachlan Gilbert and Jack Nicholson, three minutes apart, gave the students the advantage, and although Josh McMenamin pulled a goal back after 35 minutes, it wasn’t enough to bridge the gap.
Wairarapa local league side Carterton Redbacks were no match for Capital Division Two team, beaten 8-0.
