Deirdre Mary (nee Davison).
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, 5 August 1929, died peacefully in Auckland on 6 December 2020, aged 91; formerly of Greytown. Beloved wife of the late John, much loved mother and mother in law of Christine, Jonathan and Carol, Dermot and Sheena, and Sarah, and treasured grand-mother of Hugo, Grace, Miles, and India. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends in New Zealand and overseas. Special thanks to the staff of Oceania Meadowbank Village who have looked after Deirdre with great care and love.
A service will be held at Meadowbank Village, 148 Meadowbank Road, at 10.30am on Friday 11 December, followed by private cremation. In late January, there will be a memorial service at St Luke’s Church in Greytown to celebrate Deirdre’s life. Details will be advised later. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated.
