A ticket purchased at Fresh Choice in Greytown has won half of Wednesday night’s $38 million Lotto Powerball prize.
The other winning ticket was bought at New World in Warkworth, with each winner taking home just over $19.1 million.
The prize was made of $19 million with Powerball first division and $166,167 with Lotto first division, Lotto NZ says.
The winning numbers were 12, 8, 5, 36, 28 and 18. The bonus ball was 40 and the Powerball 5.
Four other Lotto players from Auckland, Whakatane, Wellington, and Invercargill will also be celebrating after each winning $166,667 with Lotto first division.
