An Oamaru woman is on the hunt for the previous owners of their vintage Wolseley saloon.
The car, now named Wilma, was first registered in Masterton in October 1958.
It changed hands several times before being registered to Myrtle Lillian Lee of 19 Masters Crescent, Masterton in November 1961.
There the car stayed until February 2001.
Lee Brehaut is looking to contact any relatives of Myrtle Lillian Lee who remembered the car and could give more information about its history and the journey’s it been on.
“When out and about getting groceries, I get comments from people about their memories of a similar car.
“She gives people lots of pleasure.”
The car’s plate number is CJ5689.

Lovely car in beautiful condition but not vintage. Vintage cars were built between 1919 and 1930, post vintage between 1931 and 1939 (WW2) with veteran cars built earlier than 1919.
This is a Classic car by definition and very similar to the Riley One-Point-Five Saloon.
