road closures

On Monday, April 22, contractors will be sealing Lincoln and Dalefield roads. The work will primarily be done on Lincoln Rd from Dalefield Rd to Frederick St but will include a section on Dalefield Rd. A lane closure along Dalefield and Lincoln roads will be in place, and traffic will be redirected down Charles St to High St South. Access to private properties will be maintained with a one-way traffic system in place.

From Monday, April 22 to Friday, May 3, alignment and grading work will be done on Te Wharau Rd [Arawhata Hill]. Detour access will be available via Glenburn Rd. While the site is in operation, access will be available via Camerons Rd and Glenburn Rd, and traffic control will be on site. And starting on Monday, April 22 will be the installation of a new sewer main on Lincoln Rd between Pembroke St and Belvedere Rd. Due to the narrowness of the road at this point, the road is impassable around this work site on the days that work is being done. There will be no thoroughfare on Lincoln Rd between Victoria and Pembroke streets. This work will be carried out between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday and is expected to take three months to complete. The road will be open for vehicles outside these hours, while all property and emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times. A detour will be in place when the section of Lincoln Rd is closed, routing vehicles around the site via Kupe Dr.
