Masterton District Council community facilities and activities manager Corin Haines said the work is scheduled to ensure all outdoor pools are operational over the holiday season. The two other outdoor pools will remain open during the work.

A reminder that roadworks continue on SH2 between Featherston and Kaitoke. Due to scheduled maintenance, there are 24/7 lane closures and stop/go traffic management in this area. Roadworks have temporary traffic signals with 30km/h speed restrictions in place until further notice. People might be asked to stop on request and should expect delays through the area.
