Unexpectedly at Wellington Hospital, with his Whānau by his side.  Dearly loved Partner of Teresa, and great mate and loved Aurie to her family.  Much loved and respected Dad of Mark, Kim (dec), Blair, Juliet, and Sam; and their partners.  Proud and adoring Dindin of Jonty; Juanita and Rahn; Keegan, Ava and Lily; and Ziggy. Great Granddad of Heidi and Darcy.  Loved Brother, Brother-in-Law, Uncle, and a good mate to many.
In accordance with Laurie’s wishes, a private service has been held.   A public memorial will be held when travel restrictions allow for his sons to be in the country.
