On 21 May 2020 at Masterton hospital, aged 63. Cherished wife of Russell Kawana. Dearly loved mother and mother in law of Jocelyn and Layton, Brenda and Nick, Kim and Stevie, Matt and Nerissa, Treen and Boy. Cherished Nan of Kieran, Regan, Tyson, Asia, Marley, Jahna and Daniel, Mere, India, Sam, Thomas, Jade, Tommy, Jesse, RJ, Nikau, Nikki Lou and TK, Te Ata, Piri, and Tiki. Loved great grandmother of TJ, Hunter, Ayvah, Lucah, and Imarni. Loved sister of Alan and Jo, Graham and Rose (deceased), Nancy and Keith, Tess and Colin, and Joe (deceased). Loved sister in law of Missy (deceased) and Karl, Willie and Sheril, Ross and Girlie, Marty (deceased) and Jeanette, Raymond (deceased) and Carol, Peter and Carol, Manu and Di, Mike and Erena, Tiana and Tom, Stephen and Fiona, Carol and Aubrey (deceased), Olive (deceased), and Wayne.
Due to COVID-19 L2 guidelines and restrictions, we will be having a private funeral service and burial for Marlene. If you wish to pay your final respects to Marlene, you will have an opportunity to do so from Saturday, 23 May – Sunday, 24 May 2020. You will need to book a time with Ana-Marie Kawana on 022 411 2102. Only groups of up to 10 people will be allowed at a time. Upon your arrival, you will be advised of the processes we have put in place to ensure we can adhere to the COVID-19 L2 guidelines. We would appreciate your patience during this time. Ngâ mihi nui.
