One person has been confirmed dead in a crash in Upper Waingawa Road near Masterton.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at 6.20pm this evening.
A helicopter responded to the crash, along with police, and Wellington Free Ambulance.
Three other people from the car have been injured, one of which is seriously injured.
Drivers must take more care on the roads.. watched an idiot going down Chester Road at Clareville on Friday, speeding then suddenly turned into a driveway, slow down… I was at the cemetery there… I wonder how many drivers today could pass the English Drivers Licence??? I remember when my husband set it.. failed, its more thorough than the NZ one, yet he had a heavy goods licence here in NZ.
