Food bank
clarification

Masterton Foodbank manager Jenna Matchett wishes to clarify that she misspoke in an article in Thursday’s paper when discussing the pressure of increasing costs, falling funding, and soaring demand for its services that the organisation is facing. “Our rent hasn’t increased as we get concessional rent from Masterton Trust Lands Trust, which effectively means our rent is covered by the trust,” she said. “However, all of our other overheads have increased as the article outlines.”
