One person has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition after their car rolled on Opaki Kaiparoro Rd at 8.50am yesterday. Police who responded to the crash confirmed it was a single-car crash. A spokesperson for Fire Emergency New Zealand [Fenz] said two trucks from Masterton and Mauriceville attended the scene. Fenz personnel extricated the driver from the car, in which they were trapped, and assisted police and ambulance crew at the scene. St John Ambulance confirmed the patient was assessed, treated, and transported to Palmerston North Hospital via helicopter.
