Douglas Park School will represent Wairarapa-Bush in the Air New Zealand Rippa championships for the third consecutive year.

Douglas Park will take the name of Georgia for the tournament in which all competing teams adopt the name of an international side.

The school has drawn a tough pool, including Auckland [Fiji], Bay of Plenty [Canada], King Country [England], Taranaki [Australia], North Otago [Spain] and Mid Canterbury [Portugal].

Only the top team from each of the four pools will qualify for the semifinals.

Each team comprises five boys and five girls. The games are played in two seven-minute halves.

Douglas Park finished with a win, a draw, and two losses from their four games last year.

The tournament started in Wellington yesterday and ends tomorrow.

And which province have drawn the prized New Zealand team?

East Coast.
