A hat-trick to Gladstone under-10s player Jock Rutherford highlighted a great day of JAB rugby on Saturday.
Under-6 Gold’s player of the day was Charlie Ashby and Under-6 Black’s player of the day was Oscar Fairbrother.
Under-6 White’s player of the day was Ben Harrington and for Under-8 Gold that honour went to Digby Tatham.
The Under-8 Black team played at Pioneer for their club day. Benji Gardner won player of the day.
The Under-9s had a great win over Masterton Red Star with Kit Oliver their player of the day.
William Osborn was the standout performer for the Under-10s, and Rutherford scored three tries.
Player of the Day was Lucas Sargent.
The Gladstone/Tuhirangi Under-13s faced Marist and player of the day went to Will Booth.
For Greytown, Southern Under-13s had a win over Carterton with Josh Smith and Atua Winata players of the day.
The Under-11s beat Gladstone and players of the day went to Izaiah Kaiwai, Cooper Goodman and Liam Andrews.
Max Mullin and Charlie Fawdray were the standouts for the Under-9s, while for the Under-8s players of the day were Heath Dunnett and Douglas Allen-Alloway. Kaleb Adams and George Fletcher scored three tries apiece.
The Under-6s players of the day were Lachie Perkins and Riley Welsh.
