Nathan Chaney top-scored for Red Star, with 30, in their total of 165 on the Memorial Park artificial pitch.
In reply, Marist failed to get on top of the accurate Red Star bowling and struggled through to 101 all out off 30.3 overs.

The best of the Waicol bowlers was the promising Samuel Payne, who took 2-33 off 10 economical overs.
Paterson then starred with the ball grabbing 5-41, including bowling star batsman Mark Steventon for 24, as Waicol stumbled to 232 all out.
