Margaret Edna (nee Thorburn).
With great sadness, Margaret’s family wish to share that she passed peacefully on 17th February 2024 at Lansdowne Park aged 93 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Colin. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Bev Moody (and her late husband Graeme Moody), Roger and Sue Wood, Sue and Morry Abbott, and Jill and Joe Governor. Dearly loved Nana of Kelsie and Sam, Bronwyn and Erina and Rebecca, Renae. Dearly loved G-Nana of Chloe and Maia, Tilly and Maddie, Matilda, Raiden and George.
A very special strong, loving, friendly and happy lady who will be greatly missed.
A private family cremation has been held. Special thanks to all at Masterton Hospital and the lovely carers/nurses and staff at Lansdowne Park where she was so happy in recent years.
