Douglas Charles, Venerable. (Doug)
Of Carterton. On 9th January 2018 peacefully, in his 87th year. Dearly loved husband of Norma for 63 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Guy and Viv, Brett and Lynda, Craig (deceased), Paul and the late Bern, Clare and Kevin Crawford. Loved Grandad of Susanna and Shelly, Alice and Jeremy, Mitchell; Katherine and Mike, John and Cici, Libby, Sophie and Michael, Gray; Molly; Joseph and Amelia, Laura and Simon, Matt and Rebecca and a loved great Grandad of his 7 great grandchildren. Loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Wellington Free Ambulance (Wairarapa Service) P.O. Box 601, Wellington 6140 would be appreciated and may be left in the church foyer.
A service to celebrate Doug’s life will be held in St Mark’s Anglican Church, cnr High Street south and Richmond Road, Carterton on Friday 12th January 2018 at 2.00pm followed by private cremation.
