Foxton Beach – formerly of the Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay. Died peacefully in Palmerston North Hospital. Husband of the late Shirley (nee Field). Only son of the late Bob and Alma Tilson of Greytown.
Brother of the late Maureen Worthington of Flaxmere. Brother/Brother in law respectively of Paddy and Richard Bayley of Hastings. Loved uncle and great uncle to his nieces and nephews. Brother in law of Les Field (dec), Allan Field, Shirly Field and Jeanette Cooper. Most dearly loved and cherished husband of Jenny.
Colin/Poppy to Jenny’s 5 children and 6 grand-children, whom he welcomed and loved as his own.
Colin…you gave me many happy years of friendship and love. 
We had a wonderful life of adventure and worldwide travel which I will never forget.
You are now free of pain, to roam the land and go duck shooting and fishing forever.
Watching sport will never be the same without you explaining the rules so I could understand.
