On 13 June, 2018, peacefully at home in Masterton, aged 86. Dearly loved wife of the late John. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Gary and Adele (Gisborne), Kevin (Masterton), Paul and Erin (Gold Coast), Andrew and Shirley (Masterton), Nigel (Himitangi Beach). Loved Nana of Josh, Dylan and Sapphire, Jodie and Hannah, Jeffrey and Jacob, and the extended family. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Norma and the late Arthur, the late Maureen and Jim Shannon, the late Avis and Roy Manion, and the late Jack Evans.
A service to celebrate Val’s life will be held at St Matthew’s Church Chapel, Church Street, Masterton on Saturday 16 June at 10.30am followed by private cremation.
