Of Greytown. On 10th December 2019 peacefully at Wellington Hospital surrounded by his wife and girls. Aged 70 years. Dearly loved husband of Deb. Adored Dad of Vanessa (Poo), Bronwyn (Bro), Karly (Little Squirt). ‘Big J’ to Ants, Tonka, Pol and Brown. Loved Poppa of Lucas, Alyssa, Liv (Libby), Liam, Ben, and Kate. Loved and devoted eldest son of the late John and Mary Simmonds and a loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. A special thanks to the extraordinary Doctors and nurses at Wellington Hospital for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Life Flight Trust, PO Box 14448, Kilbirnie, Wellington 6241 would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
A service for John will be held in the South Wairarapa Workingmen’s Club, (West street, entrance) Greytown on Saturday 14th December 2019 at 10.00am followed by private interment.
