Kenneth Geoffrey.
26 May 1943 – 12 April 2023.
We are sad to advise that our beloved Ken died very peacefully at home, with his family by his side, early Wednesday morning. He has greatly enjoyed these last weeks in the shared care of family with lots of love, conversations, celebrations, laughter, and country music. Deeply loved and loving husband of Judy (nee Fairbrother); gentle, proud and loving father of Karen and Ang, and Linda; adored and admired Poppa of Seth and Jess, Page, Louisa and Ath, Briar and Callum, Joe, and Indy, and super Poppa of Ruby and Toby. Loved son of the late Hilda and Geoff Seccombe. Greatly loved brother of Gaye and Erle, Joan, and the late Lurline and the late Noeline (all in Queensland). Loved by all his nieces and nephews, especially Michael and Beth, and Nancey. Loved brother-in-law of Graeme and Lenore, the late Roger, Coral, Owen and Brenda, and Yvonne, and their families. Special mate of John and Diane Peters. Ken moved to NZ from Australia at age 18 working in various occupations. He was a Govt. deer culler, a MAF trainer, a businessman, and also an avid golfer.
As per his request Ken was privately cremated on Friday morning.
