In St Andrews Hospital Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, after a brave battle against Cancer. John passed away with his beloved Jeanie by his side on Friday 2 July 2021 1am local time. Aged 66 years, (67 on 1st August). Dearly loved husband of Jean for 45 years. Loved brother and brother in law of Rae and Arthur Bolton, Toni and Brian McKelvey, Esther and Ian Oliver, Allen Rothery, Guy Nation all deceased, Una Nation (Hastings), Heather Rothery (Masterton), Darryl and Kate Rothery (Carterton), plus Jean’s sisters Rita and Murial Sutherland (Palmerston North). Loved Uncle to all his nieces and nephews and their families in New Zealand and Australia.
