David George.
Aged 82. At Wellington Hospital on June 13th after a short, unexpected time in hospital. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Jancis. Adored father of Kim and Mardi; loved brother of Joan Clough (Whangaparoa); Brother-in-law of Lindis and Jeanette Taylor (Tawa); Berwick and Anne Taylor (Remuera) and Uncle to his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family are deeply appreciative of the care and attention given to David while in Ward 6 South and most grateful to the cardiology team for the long hours spent in efforts to keep him with us. He maintained his characteristic gentle humour to the end.
David has been cremated and a private gathering has been held by close family to remember him. Many thanks to Broadbent and May for their kind and caring services.
