On January 5, 2023 peacefully at Wairarapa Hospital, Masterton aged 100 years. Cherished wife of the late Ken Dean and Phill O’Neill, Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Graeme and Sandra Dean, Robin (dec) and Linda Dean, Annette (dec) and Garry Spicer, Rosemarie and Jeoff Toll, Vivienne and Neil Richardson, Kaye and Alan Taplin, Kevin and Janice Dean. Much loved grandmother, step grandmother, great grandmother and great grandmother. Much loved eldest sister of Alison and the late Sybil, Des and Noel.

A service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held in Wairarapa Funeral Services Chapel, 35-37 Lincoln Road, Masterton on Monday January 9, at 1:00pm followed by private cremation.
