30th July 1937 – 30th June 2021.
Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family in her 84th year. Cherished wife of the late Neville for 53 years. Adored mum, nana and great nana of David (deceased), Heath and Pamela (Hamilton), Jonty and Rhiannon (Hamilton); Jennifer and Mark McDonald (Ashburton), Jack (Brisbane), George and Courtney (Christchurch), Annie (Auckland); Yvonne and Ted Turfrey (Whakatane), Stephanie, Dion and Aisling (Hamilton), Daniel, Alex, Bella and Corbyn (Whakatane); Gayle and Steve Muggeridge (Otakiri) Rachael, Dan, Floyd and Eddie (Opunake), Rebecca, PJ Hayman and Elliot (Otakiri) and Blake (Whakatane).
A celebration of Val’s life will be held in the Baptist Centre, Keepa Road, Whakatane on Saturday 3rd July at 1pm, followed by a burial in the New Lawn Memorial section of Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to St John Ambulance, PO Box 154, Whakatane, or can be left at the service.
