KLAPPROTH, John E.
Of Greytown. Passed away suddenly while on vacation in Taranaki on Saturday 29th September 2018, aged 67. John will always be remembered as a dedicated, loving and loyal husband to Andrea. He was a tireless and diligent writer and researcher in his special field of interest, Beethoven’s Only Beloved—Josephine. His wit and humour will be sorely missed. He was reliable, helpful and knowledgeable to his workmates, who he enjoyed being with. A much loved son-in-law and brother-in-law to Andrea’s family in Germany, and a loving pet-dad to Hunny (Karl-Heinz) and Gaston, and a good friend to many.
