On 9 August 2022 at home with his whanau, aged 59. Dearly loved husband of Tania. Loved son of the late  Rahapa and Tu Heitia Heitia. Much loved father and father-in-law of Riripeti and Todd, Kere-Aroha and James, Herewini and Reiireii, and Rahapa. Loved Papa of all his mokopuna. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Jonathan and Lisa, Kim, Catherine (dec) and Joseph, Bronwyn and Stanley, Honi and Nat. Beloved son-in-law of Riripeti (Betty) (dec) and Te Ata Namana. Loved brother-in-law of Charlie, Kelvin (dec), Puki and Moko, Hau and Ena, Rueben and Linda.  Loved by his many whangai children.
Tangihanga will be at Hurunui-O-Rangi Marae, Gladstone Road, Carterton. Service on Saturday 13 August at 11:00am followed by burial at Amahua Urupa.
