On December 30, 2017 peacefully at Cornwall Home, Masterton surrounded by family, aged 90 years. Much loved wife of and soulmate of Tenick, for 63 years. Dearly loved mother of Michael and Irene (Toronto), Janet and Malcolm Freebairn, Jim and Leanne, and the late William. Loved Granny of James, Hannah and Willie. Much loved and respected by all her extended family and friends. Special thanks to Kirsty Schofield and all the staff at Cornwall Home for their wonderful care of Janet. A service to celebrate Janet’s life will be held in Crossways (St Luke’s Union Church), Worksop Road, Masterton on Thursday January 4 at 2:00pm followed by private cremation.
