Peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Loved wife of Mike, much loved mother of Connor, Julia, Patrick and Megan, and daughter of Bryan and Carol Whitehead. Sister and sister-in-law of Scott and Vicky Whitehead, Kerry Whitehead, Sally and Simon Coffey, Judith Davis and Neil Matheson, Susan and Tim Johnston, Keren (deceased) and Bill Harper. Adored Aunt of all her nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Gaye’s life will be held at her home, 64c Opaki-Kaiparoro Road, Opaki on Friday 16th April at 1pm, followed by private burial at Tinui on Saturday 17th April.
