Carne Thomas.
On Friday, 21st May 2021, suddenly but peacefully with his family by his side. Aged 74 years. Much loved husband and mate of Annie for 49 years. Loved and caring Dad and father-in-law to Ange and Peter McFetridge and, Stu and Candida. Cherished grandad to Claire and Robbie, Jack, Ellie and Angus. Cool Dad to his 2 little mates Zippy and Penny. Loved son of the late Len and Mart Berry; bestest brother to Susan and the late Prudence. Special brother in law to the Bassett family and a good and loyal friend to many.
Carne requested a private family, no fuss service and this has taken place. A memorial celebration of Carne’s life will be held at the Pongaroa Community Centre, Pongaroa, on Friday 4th June at 11am.
