Ghoulishly good fun in Masterton

Hundreds of kids flocked to Masterton’s Queen Elizabeth II Park on October 31 to share in scares and spooks on Halloween Island.
It was the third time the Masterton District Council event had been held, with last year’s festivities cancelled due to covid-19 restrictions.
Kids were treated to face painting, scare zones, roaming Halloween characters, and train rides.
Photographer Jade Cvetkov captured some
of the hair-
raising fun.
