The talent that flooded into the Carterton Events Centre on Friday night was “amazing”, co-organiser of Talent Wairarapa Nicky King said.
Performers at the grand final of the inaugural Talent Wairarapa “wowed the judges”.
Mrs King said it was a “fantastic” event that sold out its 200-odd tickets.
The judges’ comments revealed their struggle to choose winners due to the high calibre of talent.
There was a wide variety talent on show from drummers to groups of dancers, to a man playing spoons and a Michael Jackson dance impersonator, she said.
Mrs King said she could not confirm if a second show was on the cards, but she really hoped so.
She wanted to thank Defence Minister Ron Mark for acting as the show’s emcee.
