If you’ve forgotten what summer looks like, don’t stress – a new video showing off summer bliss in Greytown will be a good reminder.
The video, is to be launched today by the Country Village Heaven Marketing Group, features an original song by The Warratah’s Barry Saunders, but with a fresh take.
It is a follow-on from a popular video released by the marketing group last September, featuring Saunder’s Your Town song.
The song has since been re-recorded with Saunder’s daughter Sarah singing lead vocals, and a new video has been shot to accompany the track – in a bid to “capture the essence of summertime in Greytown”.
Producer, Adam Blackwell of Greytown, said the video would be used to promote Greytown to visitors, holidaymakers, and shoppers, as well as potential home buyers.
“We needed to wait for a good window of perfect weather in Greytown,” he said.
“We got it, and our all-local team of Mike Heydon, camera and editor, and our very talented Sarah Saunders together with Guy Mordaunt, his partner Lisa and their beautiful daughters all make this new production a perfect three-minute story of Greytown at its best.
“Many local people co-star, together with fantastic drone video of our visitor attractions, stores, sports clubs, swimming pool, Woodside Trail and stunning scenery.
“I think Greytown people will be very proud.”
