Police are appealing for information from the public after a shot was fired through the window of a Masterton house overnight.
Police say it appears a shotgun was used to fire through the closed kitchen window of a Church St home at about 3am on Wednesday.
Occupants were inside at the time, but no one was injured.
Detective Senior Sergeant Barry Bysouth said the investigation was in its early stages, and police were appealing for witnesses to come forward.
