Police are searching for a 19-year-old Wairarapa man who has a violent criminal history and should not be approached.
There is a warrant for arrest against Matthew McRae who has distinctive tattoos on his face and neck.
He is believed to be in the Masterton area but has links throughout the Wellington, Hutt Valley, and Central Districts.
Mr McRae has a criminal history of violent and vehicle related offending, so he should not be approached, police said.
Anyone with information on Mr McRae should contact police or give information anonymously via CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.
