A slip has closed Masterton Castlepoint Rd after heavy rain this morning.
The affected area is located between the two saddles, isolating coastal communities and is currently being cleared.
The road had been closed since about 9am and the extent of the slip is still unclear.
Masterton District Council confirmed the Whangaehu Valley Rd is also closed due to a fallen tree but this was expected to be resolved quickly.
Heavy rain has also caused flooding on Homewood Rd and cautions are in place.
As yet, no indication has been given as to when the two roads will be reopened.
