AMI Masterton is calling on people to bring in donations of new pyjamas, bibs, underwear, socks and other children’s essentials in support of children’s charity Foster Hope.
The group provides practical support across the country to those caring for foster children, who often start with nothing but a small bag of belongings.
Store manager Julie McGhie said the team was proud to support the donation drive.
“Our team is inspired by the work Foster Hope does for our tamariki across the country. It’s a really great opportunity to support a worthy cause.”
Donated goods can be dropped off at AMI Masterton until the end of August and will be used to create care packages filled with essentials for children of all ages.
All donated items must be new though new hand-knitted items will be gratefully accepted.
They can be dropped off at 148 Queen St and any further questions can be directed to Julie on [06] 377 5808.
