Masterton’s newest furniture store is set to open next week.
Big Save Furniture Masterton is set to open its doors in a “soft launch” this Tuesday, with a full launch taking place on Friday next week, national property manager Lionel Da Silva said.
Stocks will be arriving at the 1800m2 store from late this afternoon.
“The team will be working Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday setting up the store, signage, and all that sort of stuff and then we will be opening the store at 8.30am on Tuesday,” Da Silva said.
“We’ve had heaps of enquiries, our info page been really busy, everyone’s been asking when are you opening? when are you opening?”
Da Silva said the Friday launch would be chance to get the builders who’d worked on the project together with businesspeople, the press, and a few VIP customers from the company’s database.
“We’ll say thank you to the local construction team that did it.
“We opted to go for a local team Rigg Zscholker, they were amazing.”
Da Silva said Big Save would be stocking a full range of kiwi brands and merchandise.
“Born and bred” Masterton resident, Gina Brenkley, has been hired as sales manager and her team of three and a half staff are ready to go.
“It’s awesome, really good for Masterton, and there’s a buzz already,” Brenkley said.
- The store would be open from 8.30am until 5.30pm weekdays, 9.30am until 5pm on Saturday, and 10am until 5pm on Sunday.
