Battle for Kapene Cup

The battle is on in earnest for the Moose Kapene Cup, the trophy which goes to the leading team at the end of one full round of matches in the Wairarapa-Bush Rugby Union’s premier division competition.

With two series of matches remaining Greytown and Gladstone share the lead with 19pts and just 2pts behind them are Pioneer and Carterton on 17.

Then come Marist 13, Eketahuna 11, Martinborough 7 and East Coast 0.
