Tararua District Council’s [TDC] Creative Communities Scheme has allocated funding to seven art-based projects in Tararua as a part of its September funding round.
According to a TDC spokesperson, there were 10 funding applications totalling $19,700, and that $11,217.40 was allocated to seven of the proposed projects.
Those projects are:
Tania Morrison pottery workshops in Norsewood, $1532
Pop Up Christmas Cave in Dannevirke, $1200
Ruahine School Production, $1170
Te Ahu A Tūranga Marae poi, tukutuku, and cross stitch evenings, $1532.40
Tulletha Pollett-Scott drumming workshops in Eketāhuna, $2000
Editing of film for Pahiatua and Districts Museum, $783
Dannevirke Theatre ‘Noises Off’ production, $3000.
The next funding round will be advertised in March 2024, with funding allocated in April.
