Yesterday the long-awaited opening of Harvey Norman in Masterton attracted crowds of customers eager to get a glimpse at the town’s latest retail chain. With four departments – computers, electrical, bedding, and furniture – the 4500m2 store is the 45th Harvey Norman outlet in New Zealand and has provided employment for up to 50 locals.
