Jazz in Martinborough was in full swing at the weekend. The community event was initiated in 2011 to help student musicians impacted by 2011’s Christchurch earthquake and has continued to become a marker in the region for the first weekend of Spring. The headline acts – internationally acclaimed Nairobi Trio and the Lucien Johnson Quartet – wowed audiences, with other groups playing gigs at local venues over the weekend to those out enjoying the sun.
