Good growth

People who moved to Masterton within the past five years and are interested in learning how to grow vegetables in a portable raised garden are invited to a workshop. GROW Community Gardens is holding the event on Saturday, April 6 from 9.30am to 11.30am. It is at the back of St Matthews Church, in Park Ave. People will be able to meet other gardeners new to Masterton, see the GROW community gardens, learn how to ‘lasagne layer’ a raised garden bed, and learn about services offered by the Wairarapa Community Centre Trust. Attendees are asked to bring garden gloves. Those interested are asked to book a place by emailing [email protected]
