Featherston Masterplan
South Wairarapa District Council [SWDC] has opened consultation on the Featherston Masterplan until February 18, 2024. This is an opportunity for the community to provide their thoughts and opinions on proposed infrastructure upgrades and investments that have been outlined in the draft Featherston Masterplan. The Masterplan proposes a series of infrastructure improvements over the coming three decades. “It proposes a comprehensive approach to transform the town centre and its surroundings, emphasising urban design, housing development, business and industry zoning, and improved connectivity,” SWDC said in a statement. There will be an opportunity for community engagement on Saturday, January 27 between 10.30am and 12.30pm at the Featherston Community Centre.
