Loved by Stewart and three wonderful children: Lesley, Michelle, Peter and Danielle, and her three loveable grandchildren Lachlan, Mikayla, and Isabella. Daughter of the late Patrick Edward and Joan Mary McGrath (Wgtn, then Hastings). Shirley was the greatest admirer of her siblings: Joan Roberts (Akl); Keri and Colin Coutts (both d, Eltham then P Nth); Pat (d) and Shirley McGrath (Fstn); Chris McGrath (Mstn); twin of Michelle and Ron (d) McCarthy (Aus); Bridget and Ted Wright (Sth Aus); Imelda and Kevin Bosnahan (Paraparaumu). Daughter-in-law to the late William Arthur and Katherine Mary Armstrong (Wgtn) Sister-in-law to Fran and Gary Wagstaff (Wgtn). Eion (d, Akl) and Carolyn Armstrong (Hamilton). Lyn (d) and Peter Besseling (Wgtn). The hugging, nosey Aunt to all her nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations to the new Wairarapa Ambulance Station would be appreciated at buildwairarapastation.org.nz or may be left at the service.
A funeral service for Shirley will be held in The Village Chapel, 4-6 High Street, Kuripuni, Masterton on Friday 15th September at 11am.
