Died peacefully at home on 30th May 2017, aged 90 years. Much loved husband of the late Audrey and cherished father and father-in-law of Dianne and John Taylor, Allan and Shirley Springer. Precious Pop to his 5 grandchildren, their partners and 13 great-grandchildren.Loved brother of Barb and Mel Smith and the late Don, Kevin, Doreen and Graeme.

A private cremation has been held at Doug’s request and a service to celebrate Doug’s life will be held at St Columba’s Presbyterian Church, Columba Way, Havelock North on Friday, 2 June 2017 at 2.00pm.
