Died peacefully on 28 August 2022. surrounded by family and loved by many. Aged 81.
Ann’s personal message to those who loved her, and which was found among her precious things is as follows…
“When I am dead think of me sometimes, but not too much.
It’s not good for you to allow your thoughts to dwell too long on the dead.
Think of me now and again as I was in life at some moment that is pleasant to recall.
But not for long. Leave me in peace as I shall leave you, too, in peace.
While you live let your thoughts be with the living.”
A private family gathering was held in her garden where tears mingled with wonderful memories, laughter, and song.
Goodbye my beautiful brown-eyed girl.
You live in our hearts forever.
