Michael John  (Mike/Slates).
Of Hupenui, Greytown. On 5th October 2022 suddenly at Wairarapa Hospital. Aged 47 years. Dearly loved son of Anne and the late Chris. Much loved brother and brother-in law of Karen and Gavin Pearce (Upper Hutt). Loved Uncle of Finn, Luke and Ben. Loved nephew of Bruce and Janice; and Peter (deceased); cousin of Andrew Slater, Joanne Fawcett and Kaye Slater. Loved nephew and cousin to the Blatchford family and a friend to many. In lieu of flowers a donation to Life Flight Trust (www.lifeflight.org.nz)  would be appreciated and can be left at the service.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at the South Wairarapa Working Mens Club (West St Entrance) Greytown on Monday 10th October 2022 at 1.30pm followed by private cremation.
