25 October 1925 – 27 February 2018.
Formally of Featherston, Upper Hutt and Plimmerton. Dearly loved husband of Norma for 68 years. Father and father-in-law of Judith and Michael Nelson, Gail and Murray Coutts, Kerrie and Martin Cogger and Vicki Kennedy. Grandfather of Liam, Aidan, Katelyn and Cole. Eldest brother of Janet and the late Gordon, Eric and Cliff. Ray passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of Summerset Hospital Trentham surrounded by his family. Many thanks for the excellent care of the Summerset team who many of them he had special names for. Ray was an important member of his family and will be sadly missed by them all.

A funeral for Ray will be held in Kingswood, cnr King and Cairo Streets, Upper Hutt on Friday, 2 March 2018 at 2.00pm followed by private cremation.
