MCARDELL,
Maikara Makere (nee Te Whaiti).
Passed away on December 31st 2017, aged 93. Dearly loved wife of the late Louis George (Eddie) McArdell. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Peter and Annette; Tama and Willie; Daniel and Anna; Merianne and Eamonn; Patrick and Margie; Pania; and Sarah. Loved grandma to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A service for Mai will be held at Kohunui marae in Pirinoa on Friday 5 January 2018 at 11am followed by interment at Rānana urupā, Whakatomotomo valley. E te iwi, tēnei mātau ka tangi atu ki tō mātau whaea, kuia kua riro nei ki ōna mātua, tīpuna. He mōrehu kuia a Maikara McArdell nō ōna karangatanga hapū, he uri nō ngā kāwai rangatira, he wahine i aroha nui ki tōna whānau. Moe mai rā ki roto i te aroha.
